We are very proud of Elliot. He competed in the Weetbix Tryathlon last weekend. We will be cheering for him in the future when he competes in the Olympic Games.

STEM
S3 completed another STEM challenge. They had to investigate what a catapult was and why they were invented. They worked in pairs with 7 craft sticks, 4 rubber bands and a bottle top lid to design and build a catapult that could fire a small ball of paper. Our winning catapult shot a ball of paper 1metre 90 cm.

STEAM Challenge
S3 had a great time completing a STEAM challenge. They had to build a structure 30 cm high using paper and tape strong enough to hold a stack of books. The winning structure held 16 books and was made of only one cylinder. Great work boys!

Collaboration
Fun games in S3 to practise collaboration. The students had to work together in pairs to keep 3 balloons from touching the ground. Our champions made 15 seconds.

The class S3 really enjoyed the challenge of building the tallest tower. The winning team's tower was 25.5cm.
